Small Business Administrating

The U.S. Small Business Administration said this week that federal disaster loans are available to small businesses, agricultural cooperatives and most nonprofit organizations that were financially hurt by cold weather and freezing temperatures in Florida from Jan. 20 through Feb. 6. Eligible borrowers may qualify for loans up to $2 million at an interest rate of 4 percent with a term of 30 years. Farmers and ranches are not eligible. Disaster victims can contact the SBA by calling 1-800-659-2955 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
